Insurance Is One of the Biggest Scams Out There

Seriously, I can’t take it anymore. We spend thousands and thousands of our hard earned money on insurance…which is essentially just throwing it in the trash. And most of the insurance we never even use each year!

It would be more effective to just put the money we spend on insurance in a separate bank account and when we actually need it, we would probably have plenty of money to pull from, except unless you need hardcore surgery, which would rarely happen I think, so we have nothing to worry about.

Insurance companies take advantage of everyone’s fear of the unknown. They make us think “I never know when I might need it” and these blasted companies profit hugely on us. I mean think about it. They get all this money and don’t spend a dime on us usually. How much does it cost to put us on a list once a year of our specified coverage. Not thousands of dollars I think.

And what’s even more ridiculous, if there is a good chance you are going to actually need some type of insurance, they won’t give it to you, or slay you with premiums!

If you live in a flood zone, do you think you can get flood insurance on your house? Nope! That would mean the insurance company would actually have to pay out from the millions of dollars they are profiting each year.

If you have a health condition or use tobacco products, it’s going to cost you a lot more to get health insurance because again, you are likely going to need it. And the only reason you get insurance at all is probably because of some law.

And even if you are in good health, and actually go to the doctors a few time, guess what? Chances are your plan has a deductible that you will never, ever use up. Meaning, before you use up that deductible you pay out of your own pocket, those insurance companies don’t have to pay a thing. It’s ridiculous what we have allowed.

Dental and vision are ridiculous too. They are much cheaper, but still, you only go there once or twice a year, so is it really worth the money? Of course not!

And car insurance, what a crock of crap! If you slip up just once, whether it be an accident or a ticket with points, your insurance will go drastically up for years. Even if you’ve been paying into them for 15 years without ever an issue, in other words, you’ve given them like $20,000, and get one speeding ticket, you are demanded to give them even more money for the next five years because you’ve shown yourself as a bad bet. Once a company has to spend money on you, they make sure to get it back threefold.

And what’s even more ridiculous is the fact that men under the age of 25 have a higher premium because “studies show them to be the most aggressive drivers.” What horse dookie! In the world we live in today, where everything is somehow sexist, racist, stereotypically offensive “we want equal rights blah blah blah,” how in the world do they get away with this? And if you are a male under 25, then you probably don’t realize just how much you are paying extra. It’s a lot. My insurance went way down when I turned 25. I can’t remember the exact figure, but it was enough to get me even more angry over the bull crap situation.

We need a change God dang it! Because these companies are screwing us…and I mean hard! Look at your paycheck. How much of it at the end of the year goes to your benefits? How much have you actually used those benefits? And that doesn’t even show you the vast amount of other insurances you are paying for. It’s got to stop. This greedy world is sucking us dry, leaving us with nothing but stress and shattered hopes while we struggle through life with barely a dollar to spend. There would probably be an insurance policy for that, but since you would absolutely need money, you wouldn’t be able to get coverage.

But then again, I guess that’s welfare. And the hardworking citizens pay for that. Great place, this world…
