Do You Want An Artist/Band to Play All Their Singles In Concert?

I’m curious if people actually prefer to hear all the singles of someone they go to see live or not.

I know why they do this. These are the songs that get radio-time and are used to promote the band and all, so I imagine a lot of people go just to see those songs performed. I get that, and it’s fair. Bands have to play what the fans want.

But are the people who go just to see the singles really, truly fans?

What about the people who are actual fans, who own every album, know every song, not just the singles?

Playing singles caters to the people who likely will only go see a band once, while the bigger fans will likely see them at any opportunity they can. But there’s no point to see them again, unless you don’t mind seeing the same set list.

It’s weird to me that artists cater more to people who like them less, but then again, there might be more of them then repeat viewers. But I doubt it, because every concert I’ve ever been to, 90% of the people somehow know every single lyric of every single song that every single band plays.

If you go to see your favorite artist, chances are they are going to play each and every single they’ve ever had. This isn’t so bad for newer artists with a couple of albums. But for the ones with lengthy careers with over 10 albums, and likely two singles from each, that’s 90% of their set list for each tour, and each concert. The other 10% is likely songs from their newest album.

It’s fine to see them once, but what’s the point ever again? Usually, the singles aren’t even their best songs, though this will be different for literally everyone, what with each person having their own tastes and all, but it’s a real shame to know you will never even see them perform anything but their singles.

There are a few bands I would love to go see a second time, but not to see a near-identical set list, despite having hundreds of songs to choose from.

And then there’s those wily artists who have so many songs that are typically long that instead of playing an entire song, play one verse and the chorus, then jump into another song.

This drives me insane! I personally would rather hear 12 full songs instead of 25 fractions of songs.

One of the only bands I’ve seen that actually play varied sets is Alkaline Trio. As a result, I am about to see them for the fifth or sixth time.

alkaline trio live blue lights

These guys have a ton of songs from nearly a dozen albums, and each set is unexpected, for they seem to choose from all of them. Of all the times I’ve seen them, they only played one song at each concert, it was their closing song, so I guess they always close with that, and they played another one of their most popular songs all but one of the concerts I’ve seen them in. I may have seen a couple more played twice over the years, but for the most part, they’ve played different songs, which is why I keep coming back for more. Heck, they even did a tour of songs they hadn’t played in a while a few years back.

Most other bands, after I realize they’ve played nothing but singles is one and done. I won’t go see them again.

So what do you think? Do you like it when artists play singles and nothing but? Or do you prefer a varied set to encourage seeing them again?

A Lot Of People Wonder About Nintendo’s Console Decisions, But It Makes Complete Sense When Looking At Their Sales History

I see on the internet all the time and am even asked about it in person a lot. That is, everyone says something along the lines of “I don’t understand why Nintendo make such weird consoles and dumb decisions. Why can’t they just make consoles with good graphics. GRAPHICS, GRAPHICS GRAPHICS!”

Firstly, just improving graphics is super boring, and Nintendo is all about doing something the competition isn’t. Unfortunately, most people have that, “if it doesn’t have good graphics than it’s not a good game” mentality. Interestingly, Nintendo’s unique consoles probably have benefited not only themselves, but Sony and Microsoft as well, for many people have a Nintendo console plus one of the “high-powered” consoles, and some people have all three!

But all one needs to do to understand Nintendo’s console decisions is look at the console sales.

NES-Console-Set

Doing a quick wikipedia search, the original NES sold just under 62 million units, which blew literally everything that had come out prior to it completely out of the water and revitalized a dying industry. There wasn’t really any competition against this console, hence it’s high sales.

snes classic

The SNES, as the name implies, is really a super version of Nintendo’s original console. Sales dropped to 49 million units, probably due to the stiff competition from the Sega Genesis. It was during this rivalry that the “Bit Wars” really took off. Sega kids and Nintendo kids constantly argued about graphics and processing speed. This takes us right to modern day, where nothing seems to have changed. PC, Xbox and PlayStation fans are always talking specs and obsessing over graphics and frame rates. I believe this stems from the veterans of the 90’s bit wars, and most people heavily involved in today’s arguments and technical interests were probably kids in that era. And since current kids always look to be more adult, they have fallen into the same tech-obsessed attitude.

n64

Winning out against the Genesis and it’s many add-ons, Nintendo’s next console, the N64, ushered in the first 3D-gaming and four-player multiplayer. This new console sold around 33 million units, seeing even more decline in sales. Sega might have had something to do with this, but the monster Nintendo created is actually to blame.

After backing out of a deal with Sony to make a disc-based gaming console, Sony made their own. The PlayStation took the world by storm for some reason. Probably due to it’s discs, which allowed for bigger games and full-motion video. The console got a lot of exclusivity from third-party developers and also brought a lot more mature games to the industry. At this time, a lot of the kids who played Nintendo and Sega consoles were now teenagers and young adults, so I imagine, like humans inevitably do, they associated those companies and their games to stuff only kids play, like watching Power Rangers and Nickelodeon. It was time to move on to something for big kids. Hence PlayStation became by far the highest-selling console of all time (at that point).

gcn

Seeing how the world was absolutely obsessed with power, Nintendo entered into the next generation with a powerhouse…the GameCube. From what I understand, this was the most powerful console on the market, surpassing Microsoft’s new Xbox, and Sony’s PlayStation 2.

Nintendo had the power, but not the third-party support I suppose, and this one only sold 21 million, coming in third just behind the Xbox. The weakest of the consoles, PS2, for reasons unknown, sold an enormous amount and is still to this day the highest selling console of all time.

nintendo-wii

So with an overcrowded market of everyone competing with power, Nintendo, at an all-time low, must have said, “Clearly it isn’t just all about power, the heck with it, let’s do our own thing.” Thus they birthed the Wii, a console that sacrificed power for innovation. The Wii, especially in it’s first few years, completely obliterated the Xbox 360 and PS3. This was due to the fact that the console was half the price of the others, and more importantly, because literally everyone was curious about the first fully motion-controlled system. The Wii targeted casual gamers like no other console has done before as well.

But after a while, people reverted to criticizing the graphics, thanks to it’s significantly lower power and lack of HD. And casual gamers didn’t really do all that great of a job supporting it through it’s lifespan. Third-party support began to dwindle due to this as well, not to mention the extra work required to put their games on the console.

But that didn’t stop it from becoming by far the highest selling console of the generation and one of the highest of all time, destroying even the NES sales with almost 102 million units sold. But unfortunately, by the end of it’s lifetime, the masses lost interest in the console.

wii u

Which is probably why no one cared about the Wii U. This console tried to capitalize off the commercial success of the Wii, keeping it’s focus on casual gamers, but also putting more of an effort to please serious gamers as well.

While it was the most powerful console out for a year, the new Xbox and PS4 were just around the corner, which again completely overpowered it. This, with the lost interest of the Wii, led to low sales, which basically made the console lose almost all third-party support after it’s first year. That and again the difficulty to develop on and lower power. This became the lowest-selling console ever for Nintendo with only 13.5 million sales.

nintendo-switch

The Switch fixed a lot of the problems with third-party and they relaxed on some of the rules as well. The console is easy to develop on, they got rid of region-locking, and are far more open to putting third-party games on the console. And the console was deliberately weak from the start, so no one can really complain that it was failing to compete with the other consoles, because by now, clearly they don’t care. Though this does still create issues with development, for the Switch is missing out on some big AAA releases, though it does seem to get ports with all DLC included years later, so clearly it’s powerful enough to run the big guns.

But the biggest appeal to the Switch is the fact that it can be played as a home console, or as a handheld, something people have been wanting for a long while.

For whatever reason, while Sony generally dominates the home consoles, Nintendo has always been king to the handheld market ever since the original Game Boy came out in the late 80’s.

There has never really been serious competition in this market, save for the PSP, which sold very well, but the DS, it’s competitor, nearly sold double. While the 3DS fell short of of even PSP sales by just a little, it’s main competitor, the PlayStation Vita, sold practically nothing at all. I don’t know really anything about this handheld so I can’t imagine why.

So with the Switch giving both handheld and home gamers something to love, with all the support from other developers one could hope for, the system has become very successful and is currently the second best selling system by Nintendo to date, and will likely rise to be one of the highest-selling consoles of all time.

I have no idea if anything I said is true, but just looking at the sales and the consoles and their competition, it’s not hard to come up with these theories, and it’s easy to see that this was what Nintendo was thinking, at least to some degree. I’m sure they put a whole lot more thought into it, but this is the gist.

Maybe. But I think it’s clear a hybrid console will be what Nintendo will be sticking to, at least for a while. They might realize they made more money with separate home and handheld consoles and probably will eventually switch back to that, but at least the next gen console will be a hybrid as well.

I Feel Plain Awful For The Editors Of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”

I don’t how much is scripted or how organized such a show is, but imagine having to sift through countless hours of people going on vacation, talking, eating, complaining, or doing nothing at all. Then throw in those parts where they talk to the camera about what they were just talking about before. God, it sounds mundane and dreadful.

And the bleeps! God, all I hear when my wife watches that show is hundreds of bleeped out curses. That must take a good long while too.

All in all, the crew must have to watch each episode like 100 times, and that’s enough to make even the greatest fans of the show cringe.

And to top it all off, with the show ending soon, the editor’s are losing out on their long gig they had going. Don’t worry, y’all will find something else! And it might make you want to shoot yourself a little less…

It’s Astounding How Useless Most Video Game Trailers Are

Seriously.

How many times have you been disappointed by a trailer? And I’m not talking about a game you were maybe excited for and then the trailer didn’t make it look so good. I’m talking about the fact that they don’t show any bloody gameplay in most trailers!!! And if they do, it’s like a quick second or two of it, peppered throughout the trailer several times.

But a ton trailers just focus completely on story. Usually long cinematics with either a monologue or text narrating some bits about the story.

Does anyone really care about the story that much? Don’t get me wrong, I love a good story, but I’m not going to buy a game for it’s story. I’m going to buy it if it looks fun. So it’s incredibly frustrating that I have to go on YouTube and look up gameplay videos because the trailers, which are designed to sell the games, are useless.

I find this to be the biggest problem on Steam and the PS store, though I’m not too certain with the latter because they don’t let you skip through the trailer, so I’ve never sat through one long enough to see if it has any gameplay.

But on Steam, they sometimes have 3-5 trailers for a single game, each around 3 minutes long, and you’ll only get about 15 seconds of gameplay collectively, if any at all. This is not always the case, fortunately. Some developers are kind enough to give us a gameplay trailer every now and then.

As I think on it, I realize what these companies are doing now. I forgot. Most people judge games by graphics. So they have to show off all the most graphically impressive moments in their game, which obviously is all the cinematics.

That way people will be like “Oh, look at the graphics, this game must be good!” So consumers will either buy it on the spot, or at least further look into it to find out how the game actually plays. I imagine it’s the same principle as dating. You aren’t going to pursue something initially that doesn’t look appealing to you.

But games are meant to be played. I like to play games…not look at them.

In short, I believe trailers should be like 80% gameplay with some small story elements thrown in. Here’s to hoping!

Tournament of Hotties: Dragon Ball (Round 1, Part 2) [Winners Revealed]

Welcome back to ToH! We’re going to show some love for some animated beauties from my favorite show of all time, Dragon Ball! This tournament will encompass women from all the series (DB, Z, GT, S).

The women selected had to have at least a few lines and have their name mentioned at some point in the show (mostly). So you will see a ton of girls throughout this tournament.

And trying out something new here. Now you can vote for your favorite girl each bout. Maybe your favorite will make it to the finals?

Check out round 1 to see which of the hottest Dragon Ball characters advanced. Now let us go!

Bout #8

Maron Vs Android 18

Wow! What a match up and so sad that it takes place so early in the tournament, as these two are easily two of the hottest women in the entire series.

Maron is essentially a Bulma clone, but younger and with bigger boobs. She’s all beauty and no brains.

Android 18 is a human turned machine with a strong heart and sexy looks/personality.

Coincidentally they are both in to midgets. Clearly it pays to die half a dozen times. Your reward is ridiculously hot women who are willing to marry you.

Miss Piiza Vs Videl

Here are two more beautiful women. Miss Piiza is the sexily dressed girlfriend/mistress thing of Hercule Satan. Videl happens to be Hercule’s martial arts savvy and beautiful daughter. She looks really good in her tight shorts by the way.

Bout #12

Cocoa Vs Tights Brief

Next up is a beautiful actress who swindles her way into Gohan’s life, a little closer than Gohan would prefer perhaps, but if he was single, he’d be one lucky fellow.

And then there is the out-of-nowhere surprise big sister to Bulma, who looks like the younger version of her mother.

Two more angelic women, both in title and form.

And that’s it for part 2! We’ve still got plenty more women to go.

Ranking All Of The Star Wars Series/Media (Current Disney Canon)

Ever since Disney took over Lucasfilm, all the countless forms of Star Wars media, especially the endless number of books, were eliminated from any official canon, leaving the six movies and the Clone Wars series the only canon material. They also said any Star Wars venture to come out after the Disney acquisition will indeed be canon from now on.

So today, I will be ranking all the series or clumps of media in which I find to be worst to best. For clarification, I will not be ranking individual movies or novels, but instead trilogies or books as a whole. Since there is so much Star Wars content, I know for a fact there will be some missed items on this list.

#12 Video Games

fallen order

Honestly, as far as I know, there aren’t many of these since Disney’s takeover. Pretty much just Fallen Order, a couple Battlefronts, a VR game or two, and some Rogue Squadron game that may or may not even be released yet.

I am placing this at the bottom of the list simply because I haven’t played any yet, with the exception of Battlefront, and I wasn’t too fond of it.

#11 Novels/ Short Stories

best-new-canon-star-wars-books

Again, this is so low for I have only read like a short story or two, and they were just okay. I very much want to read more when I have a moment, and was hoping to eventually collect them all, but they are being released so rapidly that that is surely nothing but a hopeless dream at this point.

#10 Comics

star wars-comics-1

I do own a handful of comics, but these too are growing insanely fast. Of the five or six I have read, they are slightly interesting, but ultimately range from somewhat boring to okay.

#9 The Resistance Series

IMAGE DESCRIPTION DATA

This series is pretty awful, save for the last handful of episodes. It is clearly geared more towards small children, and hardly anything interesting happens. It also mostly takes place in a single area, which is highly unusual for Star Wars. In fact, this show does not feel like Star Wars at all. But like I said, at the end, when it takes place concurrently with Force Awakens,  it gets pretty good.

I have only watched the first season, so I can’t say anything for the second one.

#8 The Bad Batch

The Bad Batch is a fun show to watch, but it’s really just an episode-by-episode kind of series, where each one is separated from the others. In other words, there isn’t really any kind of story arc, just the batch doing a random mission each episode for some light money. Each episode usually comes with a cameo, so it’s great to see what famous Star Wars characters were doing at the transition of the empire.

Speaking of, that is where the series’ greatest potential lies. We have seen some of the transition from Republic to Empire, and how Clone Troopers fit into that change. We’ve seen prototypes from of a cross between a Clone Fighter to a TIE fighter ship, so watching the universal order and technologies shift has been great, and I imagine we’ll get a bunch more treats like that coming up in season 2.

#7 The Sequel Trilogy

star wars the sequel trilogy

I enjoyed Episode 7 and 9 right away, and 8 took me three views to accept it. They are good movies, and I like most of the new characters. But good lord is this trilogy a mess. They start out by banking solely on nothing but nostalgia, then go off in a completely different direction, and then yank it back to the first path while using fan service as possible band-aid/blinder to how much they messed.

This whole trilogy was handled very poorly, especially when it comes to the story, and shows that without George Lucas behind the helm, things don’t go so smoothly.

In fact, George Lucas just revealed his plans for his sequel trilogy, and it sounds immensely better than what we got.

#6 Star Wars Story Movies

solo

This includes Rogue One and Solo.

These two movies were hard to place. They are both fantastic. Rogue One is probably my least favorite movie next to Last Jedi, (though it grows on me every time I watch it), but Solo is probably in my top 3. They are great supplemental films and I hope Disney stops being cheap idiots and start making more, for they clearly handle these better than the sequels.

#5 The Mandalorian Series

mandalorian

This is a great show. I love the whole tone and feel of it. It has great action, and an intriguing storyline that gets even more so each episode. There is so much lore surrounding the Mandalorians, and this show will most likely pull from all of it to make a very solid and worthy series.

#4 Rebels Series

star wars rebels series

This show is really good. All of the characters are very likeable, and it does a nice job advancing the story of some established characters as well, while also creating unique storylines that cross over and run adjacent to already established storylines.

This series can be ranked very closely with my next selection. It was hard to say either way, so consider them on even footing.

#3 The Original Trilogy

star wars orginal trilogy

For the time, these movies were completely minding-blowing, and still are today. Last time I watched them though, they were starting to feel aged however. But to say that it takes over 40 years to show some age, that’s pretty impressive. Regardless, these movies and their characters and story are fantastic, and always will be.

#2 The Prequel Trilogy

star wars preqeul trilogy

As much as I love the original trilogy, as a child it had always left me wanting. I craved to see Darth Vader’s past, and a time when the Jedi reigned free. Surely Star Wars was more than this dark, depressing rebellion struggle?

In short, the prequels fulfilled my every desire, right down to my wish that they actually did something cool with Boba Fett (obviously I am talking about Jango).

I love the worlds, the characters, and especially the storyline, particularly when it comes to episode 3. That movie blows me away time and time again. But what really sets it apart is all the awesome action. This is everything I always wanted in settings I always hoped for.

#1 The Clones Wars Series

star wars-the-clone-wars-review-image-1024x587

To me, Star Wars is this series. Everything else just supplements it. You get to learn about so many characters that may have only been glimpsed in movies and even see them in action. You get to see into the lives of the Clones. There are so many excellent storylines, and it’s fun to see all the characters go through each one, learning and growing from their experience.

And where the show really shines is the intense action. This is easily the most violent Star Wars related media ever made, and it’s worth it. It’s so amazing and fun to watch. The Jedi in real life have so much human restriction, but in a CGI show, you can really see what you always knew they were capable of!

The show does a great job bridging episode 2 and 3, and now we know what Obi-Wan, Anakin and the others really went through in the time between those movies.

Season one is good, but it’s not until season 2 that this show really starts to shine, and it does nothing but get better and better. The recently released season 7 is the most amazing thing Star Wars has ever achieved and then some. The last few episodes nearly brought me to tears from the awesomeness.

So there you have it. These are all the Star Wars medias I have been involved with that I can think of at the moment.

Star Wars has been an important part of my life since as long as I can remember, and I am so thankful the franchise is continuing to go strong, despite a few hiccups here and there.

Paper Mario Series Ranked

In honor of the recent release of Paper Mario: The Origami King for Nintendo Switch, I am going to take the entire series, well, all the ones I’ve played anyway, and rank them from worst to best.

I don’t like saying worst to best, because I think every single one of these games is a grand slam. It’s easily one of my favorite series, out there, (it actually came in fourth in my top 10 video game series).

Aside from them being all great, diverse, unique, creative, and charming, it’s the story-telling and humor that really gets me. I can’t explain it, but there’s a certain feeling I get when playing these games that basically says, “yeah, I’m playing Paper Mario, and I’m ecstatic.”

This series doesn’t have a lot of games, which makes it all the more special.

So here we go!

#5

Super Paper Mario

Wii, 2007

Times Beaten-1

The first to stray from the original formula, this takes the classic Mario platforming and combines it with RPG elements and showers the bizarre Paper Mario creativity all over it. Despite being last on the list, it’s still a wonderful game.

#4

Paper Mario: Sticker Star

3DS, 2012

Times Beaten- 1

This one returns to turn-based combat, but requires you to have stickers to attack. You have a sticker book to hold all your stickers, but it has limited space. Weak attacks are small, and stronger ones are huge, so you’ve got to balance them out and use what’s necessary during battles. This adds a fun strategical element to the game. The game also takes the whole paper theme to a new level.

The game uses a world map like in Super Mario World, dividing the game into stages for the first time. It also involves a lot of back-tracking and puzzle solving, which is impossible to figure out. I needed to use a guide the whole game, because it was so confusing.

#3

Paper Mario: Color Splash

Wii U, 2016

Times Beaten- 1

This one is more like Sticker Star, but instead of stickers you use cards to attack, and have to paint them during battle to make them more powerful. You can play three cards at once, and it is rather fun to set up attack trains to fit the situation. The only trouble is, killing enemies grants you items that when enough are gathered, your paint supply grows. Eventually, when it’s big enough to suit your needs, there is no point in fighting enemies. That’s right, there is no experience and level-ups in this game.

#2

Paper Mario

Nintendo 64, 2001

Times Beaten- 2

The one that started it all, and still one of the most bizarre and brilliant ideas of all time. This is a classic JRPG, but with massively unique elements, though it does borrow from Super Mario RPG. Awesome characters, a variety of partners to help you fight, silly story, it’s all awesome.

#1

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

GameCube, 2004

Times Beaten- 2, maybe 3??

The gameplay in this one is just like the first one. Every area in this level is fantastic and imaginative, and is one of the few games I’ve ever played that I got sad when I beat it. This may be my favorite game of all time, as a matter of fact. Or at least second-favorite.

All these games are hilarious, have fun worlds to explore, characters with quirky personalities, addicting gameplay, and a whole lot of frickin’ awesome.

The world is very divided on this series. Many people complain that they changed the formula and wish the series returned to the the style of the first two.

There’s no denying (in my book) the first two are by far the greatest, but that is no reason to hate on the others, for they are all solid, unbelievably fun and witty games.

Would I like to see a return to the originals? Absolutely, but I am also excited for new ideas, and am anxious to see what other creative, unique, WTF things they can come up with. Which is why I can not wait to play Origami King!

Tournament of Hotties: Adam Sandler’s Lovely Leading Ladies- Round 3

Adam Sandler has done a lot of movies, most of them romantic comedies, and he typically has a very attractive woman as the person he is romancing, so it’s time to pit all the wives, girlfriends, partners in some way that he has had among all his movies to see who is the ultimate hottie!

Check out the past parts here, and now let’s get into some true hotties!

Holly Sullivan (The Wedding Singer)

Holly Sullivan 04

She is super sexy, and seems to be pretty easy. Definitely easy on the eyes in any case.

She’s so beautiful. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to have ever taken up modeling. What a waste.

VS

Vanessa (Big Daddy)

vanessa

The queen of red bras returns! Let’s see how she looks in other scant clothing!

Yeah…she’s hot. Her body is quite amazing.

So this battle of the blonds is a tough one, as both of these women are gorgeous, but one stands out regardless.

Pam Dawson (Mr. Deeds)

pam dawson 5

This beautiful alter ego is totally worth being tricked by, as long as you get a little action before she betrays you.

She’s an odd case. Sometimes she looks beautiful and sexy, other times not so much. She often looks kind of scary, like the real Wednesday from the Adam’s Family.

VS

Linda (Anger Management)

linda kissy

She’s a good looking woman, but nothing mind-blowing. Let’s see if that changes in real life.

Interesting, both women in this bout can be meh or very hot. But which is hotter in their movie? This is an easy one.

Victor

Aw, she’s so beautiful in this picture with that cute smile.

Pam Dawson (Mr. Deeds)

Alex Mcdonough

(I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry)

Is there anything that can stop this beautiful woman? She’s already taken down two of the hottest women in the tournament. Let’s see why!

What a sexy gal!

VS

Palmer Dodge (Just Go With It)

palmer just-go-with-it-lg

Wow. Alex has her hands full with another stunning woman. (I wish she had her hands full of Palmer, am I right?)

What a body. What a mother fluffin body.

Alex has beaten some tough girls, not simply because she’s really hot, but also because she wears super sexy things in her movie. Palmer does also, like all the time. She’s in a tropical paradise and unfortunately, looks far more amazing in a bikini than Alex does in underwear. Alex, I’m sorry, but Palmer is better looking in every way.

Very beautiful!

VS

Violet Van Patten (Pixels)

Another gorgeous woman, but how much so?

This woman is all kinds of sexy, what with her tight and toned body. Mmm…

VS

Julia De Fiore

julia mast

Julia has defeated more women in this tournament than any other, as she has come out on top of two other three-ways. Can she repeat this for her third?

So all three of these women are truly stunning. Believe it or not, Violet is the first to get knocked out.

And in second…Julia! While she dresses very sexy a lot in her movie, she just can’t compare to Katherine in a hula outfit. Well, actually, her lingerie scene is pretty incredible. But Katherine is better looking all around. Better face, hair, body, smile, all the works. Though Julia undoubtedly takes the cake for best butt in the tournament!

Tournament of Hotties: Adam Sandler’s Lovely Leading Ladies- Round 2, Part 2

Adam Sandler has done a lot of movies, most of them romantic comedies, and he typically has a very attractive woman as the person he is romancing, so it’s time to pit all the wives, girlfriends, partners in some way that he has had among all his movies to see who is the ultimate hottie!

Check out the past parts here, and now let’s finish off round 2 to find the hottest of the hot!

Bout #6

Laura (Funny People)

funny_people15

She’s pretty good looking, but let’s see just how much.

Very attractive woman with a great body. She comes off very friendly, and even more sexy. I also just realized she has a role in another Adam Sandler movie, Big Daddy, where she is way more hot than in Funny People.

VS

Palmer Dodge (Just Go With It)

brooklyn decker just go with it

She wears a bikini like no other. Probably because she’s a bikini model or something.

Wow…I guess she is, and a hot one at that.

Laura is hot, but she can’t possibly compare to this.

Bout #7

Katherine Murphy (Just Go With It)

katherine murphy just go with it 3

Seriously, Katherine’s body is amazing. She looks irresistible in that coconut bikini thing.

I don’t know why, but despite being scantily clad in these photos, she really doesn’t do anything for me, except for that one in the black dress thing. She looks jaw-dropping there, and she’s supposedly 51 in that!

VS

Maru McGarricle (That’s My Boy)

maru mcgarrivle

This sexy teacher is everything a young student could hope for.

Man I would love to have seen some of my teachers in bikinis like these. She’s an attractive woman with nice boobs and a great body, but her face isn’t too great.

In fact, with the exception of the boob department, Katherine has her beat in every way.

Violet Van Patten (Pixels)

violet van patten

Violet definitely is an eye-catcher, so let’s give your eyes some more to see!

So she might actually be a little too slim. Very beautiful though. Her thinness probably affects her boob size, which is practically non-existent.

VS

Smoking Fox (The Ridiculous Six)

smoking fox 3

She’s got a hard, beautiful face, and is smoking hot, but let’s see just how smokey.

She’s got an exceptional body, and overall beautiful looks.

This is a tough one, mainly due to the rules set. Truthfully, Fox has a better body, and her pictures show it, not to mention she’s better looking all around.

But I am judging based on their appearances in the movie, and while Smoking Fox is stunning in the movie, she is barely in it, and doesn’t really do much other than look hot.

Violet has a much bigger role, has more than one costume, and looks damn sexy most of the time. So this is quite a predicament, but one must move on, and that would be…

Bout #9

We’ve got another threesome, thanks to uneven women!

Heather (The Do-Over)

heather the do over 2

While officially not a love-interest of Sandler’s, she’s officially really stinkin’ hot.

She can be rather diverse looking, but one consistency is she’s incredibly hot and sexy.

VS

Courtney Clarke (Sandy Wexler)

courtney clarke 2

Let’s see what the sometimes beautiful, sometimes meh Courtney really has to offer.

You see what I mean? This woman is all over the place. Some of these photos she’s okay, some she’s hot, and some she’s holy hell I want to hit that!!! It’s the same exact thing in the movie. She’s got huge boobs though, so wahoo!

VS

Julia De Fiore (Uncut Gems)

uncut-gems-julia-fox

As we saw in the last round, Julia has like the best butt ever. Let’s see if we can’t see more of her…

Her body’s a bit oddly proportion, but she’s got it all where it matters.

So which of these three hotties gets to move on?

Courtney is easily the least attractive due to her inconsistencies. Plus, compared to the other two, she doesn’t act very sexy in her movie.

Heather is a more attractive woman than Julia, but Julia has better features, if you know what I mean. And unfortunately for Heather, Julia shows them off in several sexy outfits in her movie, which gives the win to…

That’s it for round 2! Things are going to get even hotter in the next round!

Tournament Of Hotties: Adam Sandler’s Lovely Leading Ladies- Round 2, Part 1

Adam Sandler has done a lot of movies, most of them romantic comedies, and he typically has a very attractive woman as the person he is romancing, so it’s time to pit all the wives, girlfriends, partners in some way that he has had among all his movies to see who is the ultimate hottie!

I can’t make any promises that I didn’t miss any, for there’s quite a few and it’s been years (like in the decades) since I’ve seen a lot of these, or I’ve only seen them once and don’t remember, but I’ll do my best to find them all!

Note that I will be judging the women as their characters, and not the actresses themselves, for we will likely see them before and after their films were made.

Check out all of round 1 listed here to catch up. Now let’s begin round 2. Things should get steamy!

Bout #1

Veronica Vaughn (Billy Madison)

veronica 2

Veronica Vaughn. So hot, want to touch the hiney.

Billy Madison says it all.

She’s clearly a very beautiful woman with a great body, both when she was younger, and older.

VS

Holly Sullivan (The Wedding Singer)

holly sullivan

Her wavy hair in this movie drives me wild.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Both of these women are very attractive, but there’s something off about Veronica’s face that keeps her from becoming completely beautiful. Plus Holly is better looking in every category anyway.

Vicki Vallencourt (The Water Boy)

vicki vallencourt 3

If only the camera were pointed a little lower…

She’s not bad looking and has a great body, but she’s nothing spectacular.

VS

Vanessa (Big Daddy)

ANCENSORED.COM

I still can’t get over how good she looks in that dang bra.

Turns out that bra is concealing perfection. This is one hot blond with an incredible body.

This is an easy choice.

Valerie Veran (Little Nicky)

valerie veran 3

So her character isn’t good-looking, but what about the actress?

Her boobs seemed to have quadrupled in size as she aged. But she’s still not the best looking woman ever.

VS

Pam Dawson (Mr. Deeds)

pam dawson 3

The beautiful alter-ego of Babe Bennett. Let’s see what this woman has to offer as neither of these characters, shall we?

She’s very sexy, and yet at the same time, not. Regardless, she’s not someone you would pass up a night with.

Linda (Anger Management)

She’s decent looking in the film, but how about the actress?

Wow, she’s actually pretty sexy and hot.

VS

Deborah Clasky (Spanglish)

spanglish-tea-leoni

She’s a pretty beautiful woman.

When it comes down to it, both of these girls could likely show you a good time, but this one seems a little more wild, and definitely is sexier in her film.

Donna Newman (Click)

donna newman 3

God, she’s so beautiful. I can’t wait to see what else she has to offer.

Those legs…phew. She’s a hot cookie, that’s for sure.

VS

Alex McDonough

(I Now Pronounce You Check & Larry)

alex mcdonough

Wow. Alex is facing off with another extremely hot woman. Let’s see if she can compete.

That is one smokin’ hot female.

This is a really tough bout as both of these women steal the show. Both have perfect bodies, beautiful faces…perfect everything.

But Alex is yet again going to eliminate another hot woman that should make it in the later rounds. The reason Alex pulls ahead is because she wears such sexy things in her movie, and looks jaw-dropping in each outfit.

But like we did with Dalia, I think Donna deserves a special send off, so here ya go!
