Why It Doesn’t Make Sense To Make Fun Of Millennials (Or Really Any Generation Younger Than Your Own)

Millennials are generally considered people who are born roughly between 1981-1996, give or take a few years. And for years, all you hear about is how these folks are like the losers of the universe, dumb, entitled babies and the like. They get trashed on by everyone, typically older folks are the ones doing it obviously. But when I see this, I have got to laugh, for it makes no sense at all.

Cuz here’s the thing, older gens that make fun of them. Millennials are products of YOU raising them in a world YOU created. Seriously. This is why it is so stupid for older gens to make fun of younger ones.

Not to mention, each generation grows up in a completely different world. Think of how your grandparents, parents and yourself grew up. They are 100% different. If you are in your 20’s or older even, your world today is substantially different from when you were a little kid.

And life doesn’t get much easier, in a ever more crowded and complicated world, I feel very bad for kids being born today, for in 20 years, I don’t want to imagine how crappy everything will be. Especially when the supposed millenials take over running the world.

There is a humorous article that tells 50 of the things millennials are made fun. Some of them just make no sense, most of them are really just what happens with the current technology and what not. The world is changing with each generation, especially due to the crazy tech uprising, and I can just conclude that the older people don’t like all the changes so blame it on them young whippersnappers.

The one I hear about most is the participation awards. Everyone deserves an award for everything. I don’t recall any millennial ever begging for a trophy or some kind of reward for just showing up. This had to been an idea that the parents made up. Sure some kids might have been sad that their team didn’t win and they wished they got a trophy, which may have started the idea, but still, it’s not like a bunch of 6 year olds banded together and protested that everyone should get something.

Trends, styles, fads…etc. These have changed yearly, so why is it that it is so surprising and offensive that millennials have them as well? There is always going to be new things people get interested and then drop. All about change…again. People hate differences. It’s literally generational racism.

The point I’m trying to get across is, as people grow up, they create new things, which eventually derail life styles between each generation, and then the older people get ticked for them not going through life exactly as they had. This has been going on forever, and will continue to do so. So the only thing to do is just let it happen, for change is inevitable, so why cause rifts and problems. Because guess what? The generation above you hates your ass too.

Why can’t we all just get along?

Master Roshi Dragon Ball Spin-Off Series

Wouldn’t this be a fascinating thing?

In Dragon Ball, especially in the first few seasons, Master Roshi is this mysterious master of martial arts who is without question the most powerful man on the planet. And what makes him even more intriguing is that he is well past his prime.

There are many things about his past that are worth seeing. Master Roshi has many objects that beg origin stories on how he came across them, and there are many events mentioned that need to be expanded upon.

They delve slightly into his past, but we need a full show now! It could start with him training under Mutaito with Shen and just show him progress through his long life. I mean, the man is like 500 years old or something. That’s a lot of potential content.

Things I would like to see are a more developed relationship with his sister, fortune-teller Baba, and best friend Shen.

Why he became the Turtle Hermit

How he learned to make his muscles huge at will

When he became renowned as the strongest man in the world

These are all just some things about his life that could make for some exciting episodes.

It could go up to him taking on Gohan and Ox King as students and then focus on those two and their back stories a bit as well, and then end the show around the time Gohan finds Goku, thus nicely tying it right into Dragon Ball.

It wouldn’t be a show like Z and Super with big powerups and explosions, but more straight martial arts action with some epic parts thrown in.

I hope one day this becomes a real thing, because I think it would be a fun ride to see one of Dragon Ball’s most intriguing and pervy characters grow into the personality and life that we know so well.

We Need A Dragon Ball Super Game

Many people are looking forward to the upcoming release of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

While this looks to be an awesome game, I think what we need now is a game dedicatedDBZ_Tenkaichi_3_Cover_2 to Dragon Ball Super. And if not dedicated to the series, then doing something like they did with Tenkaichi 3, where they covered most of Dragon Ball, Z and GT, not to mention the movies and then some. Tenkaichi 3 is by far my favorite Dragon Ball game. With fun gameplay and an unrivaled character roster, no game has come remotely close to it since it’s release.

Now imagine if they could take that game and just add DBS to it. It would be something amazing for sure. The series, in its 111 episodes that have aired so far, has introduced countless new characters and transformations. Heck, the Tournament of Power alone could make an amazing game.

The tragic thing about this is that we will never get a game like Tenkaichi 3 ever again, simply because games are much more condensed now, and take advantage of DLC to bulk it up. This is the case of FighterZ, as well as just about every other fighting game out there nowadays.

But we’ve played through the Z series dozens of times in our lifetime. Now it is time to make something new for a new, amazing show.

Though really, I suppose it would be more prudent to wait until the series finishes before making a DBS dedicated game. At least they are including some characters from the new series in the more recent games, so that’s a start.
